Jack Lee Huckabee, 89, of Bennettsville, South Carolina, passed away Monday, Feb. 12, 2024 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst.
He was born July 11, 1934 in Marlboro County, South Carolina, son of the late Robert Facing Huckabee and Rosa Quick Huckabee.
Jack was a skilled carpenter and worked many years in cabinet making. He enjoyed raising his cows and always loved being outdoors. He also kept a clean yard with his love of cutting grass and raking.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Robinson Huckabee; son, Jackie Huckabee; great-grandson, Christopher Huckabee Jr.; and brothers, Gene Huckabee and Buck Huckabee.
Jack is survived by his children, Gerald Huckabee (Nancy) of Rockingham, Stevie Huckabee of Bennettsville, South Carolina, and Robin Davis (John) of Seven Lakes; brother, Carlisle Huckabee of South Carolina; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024 from noon-1 p.m. at Harrington Funeral Home, Hamlet.
The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., immediately following visitation, in the chapel of Harrington Funeral Home with the Rev. Dean Dixon officiating. Burial will follow at Huckabee Family Cemetery, Bennettsville.
