Judy Arlene Mills Shepard, 75, of Rockingham, passed away Sunday, Nov. 26, 2023 at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg.
Mrs. Shepard was born March 3, 1948 in Moore County, a daughter of the late Zeb Vance and Lela Alma Young Mills.
She retired from L’Eggs Hosiery and had also worked with Perdue.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Wayne Shepard; children, David Andrew Shepard and Amanda A. Shepard; grandson, T.J.; and siblings, Richard Mills, Leon Mills, Odell Mills, Marie Rainwater and Carol Stubbs.
Surviving are her children, Albert Wayne Shepard Jr (Teresa), Raina Diana Reese, Cathy Elaine Shepard and Avis Luann Langkilde; grandchildren, Magan, Morgan, Dakota, Jamie, Shane, Laina, Virginia, Courtney and Charlie; and siblings, Avis Bowman and Janet Lowery.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023 at Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will greet friends following the service.
