Richard Earl Dees, 64, of Rockingham, passed away peacefully Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024.
Richard was born Oct. 12, 1959 in Alamance County. He is the son of the late Earl and Patricia Dees.
He grew up in Asheboro and graduated from Asheboro High School. He attended UNCC and graduated from Richmond Community College.
The primary focus of his life was raising his daughter, Holly, and caring for his mother. He was the best father anyone could have and loved his daughter immensely. He was a kind and giving person, a wonderful father, beloved bother and devoted son. He will greatly be missed by many and remembered forever.
He is survived by his daughter, Holly Dees. He is also survived by his brother, Patrick Dees and sisters, Martha Barham and Eva Davis.
To honor his wishes the family will hold a private burial at Drake Dudley Cemetery.
