Wesley, age 61, passed away peacefully at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital with his son Kevin and wife Linda by his side.
Wesley loved working for the fire service since 1996. He started with Rockingham Fire Department until retirement, and then with East Rockingham Fire Department. He also worked for a while at Monroe’s Small Engine.

Wesley wanted to be cremated, with no funeral service and no flowers. He only wanted to make sure that his friends knew how much he loved and valued their friendship.
