OBITUARY: William James Kelly Jr.

William James “Jamie” Kelly Jr., 52, of Rockingham, passed away suddenly on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Richmond.

He was born April 22, 1971, in Richmond County, son of the late William James Kelly Sr. and Pauline Baldwin Kelly.

Jamie loved his career as a truck driver. In prior years, he also worked with his dad with Baldwin Development and Selina’s Waste, and with Cortek. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, music, and video-gaming with his son. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Edna Cook Kelly; and brother, Rodney Kelly.

Jamie is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly Maness Kelly of the home; sons, Anthony Michael Watson-D’Agostino of Ohio and Branden James Kelly of Rockingham; mother-in-law, Donna Meece (Carl) of Rockingham; brothers, Ricky Leviner of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Dean Leviner of Raleigh; sister-in-law, Tracey Goodwin and husband, Trey, and their son, Dylon of Rockingham; brother-in-law, Johnny Maness, and wife, Jess, and their son, Hunter, of Cordova; cousins, Johnny Baldwin and family, and Timmy Duggins; best friend, Billy Braiden, and wife Amie, of Rockingham; and a host of extended family and friends.

A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023 from 4-6 p.m. at Harrington Funeral Home, Hamlet.
