Ronald Craig Baldwin

ROCKINGHAM — Ronald Craig Baldwin, 59, of Rockingham, passed away Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

Craig was born Dec. 25, 1962 in Rockingham, son of the late Hilry and Eva Terry Baldwin.

 He was an avid outdoorsman and loved deer hunting. His family was his priority and he loved them, especially his grandchildren, who affectionately called him “PawPaw.”  

Craig was predeceased by his parents; and sister, Teri McPherson.

Surviving are his children, Stephanie Covington (Jovan) of Rockingham, Elizabeth Baldwin of Ellerbe, and Blake Baldwin of Rockingham; significant other, Dana Simmons of Rockingham; grandchildren, Jaiden, Isaiah, Jordyn, Jaeleigh, Sean and Micah; sister, Laurie Grooms (Philip) of Marshville; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is planned for Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022, at 6 p.m. at Harrington Funeral Home Chapel, Hamlet. The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. prior to the service, and at other times at the home, 201 Northside Drive, Rockingham.

Masks and social distancing are requested for the services.
