Richmond County COVID-19 Heroes: Superior Cranes critical to infrastructure

Superior Cranes, Inc., has always been an essential industry in Richmond County that provides services nationally and globally. As one of the largest employers in the county, Superior Cranes continues to lead the way and make a substantial positive impact in supporting both our local community and our nation during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Superior Cranes, Inc., headquartered in Rockingham, with locations in North and South Carolina, is proud and humbled to be part of the Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers during the COVID-19 response as outlined by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

The following quote was provided by owner, Joe Everett:

“Our men and women continue to be on the front lines for our customers to make sure that our friends in utilities, manufacturing, and health care to name a few can continue providing support to us all. Through crane services, specialized hauling, and mechanical rigging, our team members are focused on making sure that all the needs of our valuable customers are covered. People make the difference and we are so very thankful for all of our Superior Cranes, Inc. family that continue to press on and provide great service.  We are thankful to be a part of the response and look forward to the day when we are all able to be on the other side of this pandemic to see how we have grown stronger together.”

Director of Marketing and Communications Brian Schneider echoed Everett’s words and expressed his pride in Superior Cranes, being an essential business that continues to be available for and offer support to numerous privately contracted companies that provide healthcare and utility services. While their impact on COVID-19 response efforts may seem indirect, it is still very significant, as they are the backbone supporting a variety of essential businesses that are on the front lines of response efforts. In the case that hospitals, other healthcare providers, or utility companies need services to ensure they can remain open and offer critical responses, Superior Cranes, Inc., is there to guarantee their accessibility and sustainability.

Additionally, by the industry remaining open, while observing strict safety precautions and prevention guidelines, Superior Cranes continues to make a huge economic impact to Richmond County and the many families that rely on their employment with them.

We are so thankful to have this powerhouse industry in our community and so proud of the crucial role they have in ensuring other businesses and companies are able to continue providing key response efforts to COVID-19.
