ROCKINGHAM — During halftime of Friday’s Mid-South Championship football game, members of the Richmond Senior High School band and color guard took center stage.
A total of 17 students were recognized on senior night by public address announcer Daniel Diggs.
This year’s seniors were: Azriel Austin, Essence Barringer, Arius Carriker, Latrell Carter, Catherine Clifton, Angel Cristobal, Thomas Dunn, Justin Flowers, Nakeelah Hill, Isaiah Jones, Ge'Nazhia Littlejohn, Kasey Lopez Bustos, Kendrick McCollum, Madison Melton, Naimeseia Samir, Seneca Thomas and Daila Waddell.
Similar to the football and cheerleading teams’ senior night prior to the game, each band and color guard member was escorted by family members and classmates from the 50-yard line.
The entire Richmond band and color guard did its part to help the Raiders to a 58-27 victory over Pinecrest.
