ROCKINGHAM — A man is facing several drug-related charges following the Thursday morning execution of two search warrants.

The RPD Tactical Response Unit, Narcotics Unit and Criminal Investigation Division reportedly searched residences on Brookwood Avenue and Long Drive around 8:40 a.m., finding and seizing: 198 grams of fentanyl; approximately $8,000 in U.S. currency; two high-capacity drum magazines; and assorted drug paraphernalia.

According to the Drug Enforcement Administration, 2 milligrams of fentanyl can be fatal.

Police say the warrants were obtained as a result of an investigation by the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Community Impact Team.

Everett is also accused of conspiring with Jameson Claire Garner to sell and deliver cocaine and fentanyl on Aug. 24, 2025.

Garner was arrested Jan. 28 following a search of her home south of Hamlet and charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver fentanyl, and maintaining a vehicle, dwelling or place for a controlled substance; as well as a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

William Eathan Garner, 28, was also charged in that investigation.

Court records show Jameson Garner failed to appear in court Feb. 12 and an order for arrest was issued Feb. 18, however, records show the OFA was recalled.

The following day, District Court Judge Chevonne Wallace said in a filing that a note was sent confirming that Jameson Garner was in rehab at the time.

It does not appear that Garner has yet been charged with conspiracy.

Everett is charged by RPD with trafficking in fentanyl and possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver fentanyl; and is charged by RCSO with two counts of conspiracy to sell or deliver a Schedule II controlled substance, conspiracy to sell cocaine, and conspiracy to deliver cocaine.

He is being held without bond in the Richmond County Jail. Prior to his arrest, Everett was on pre-trial release after being charged in 2024 with two counts each of possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Everett is scheduled to appear in court April 9 on the most recent charges.

RPD also charged 44-year-old Felicia Antoinette Legrande with a single felony count of maintaining a vehicle, dwelling or place for a controlled substance. She was released on a $10,000 unsecured bond. Her court date is also April 9.

“The Rockingham Police Department remains committed to working with our law enforcement partners to investigate and disrupt the distribution of illegal narcotics within our community,” reads a post on the RPD Facebook page. “This case remains under investigation, and additional charges may be forthcoming."

Records show Everett has the following prior convictions:

2012 - possession of drug paraphernalia

2013 - possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance

2014 - possession with intent to sell a Schedule II controlled substance

2018 - possession with intent to sell a Schedule II controlled substance, selling a Schedule II controlled substance

All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
