Hamlet brings back Food Truck Friday, starts Box Car concert series

HAMLET — The Seaboard City kicked off a month full of events Friday with the return of Food Truck Friday on Main.

As with last year, the food trucks are serving up their menu items in the parking lot of the Visitors Center. 

The event, which lasts until 7 p.m., features food from Bac 2 Mac, Mama Blair’s and Everything Rolled, along with dessert from Big D’s Mini Donuts and Kona Ice.

The second Food Truck Friday is slated for April 22.

Big D’s will be back on Sunday, April 10, along with Smokin’ Ain’t Easy BBQ, for a Cruise-in on Main from 3-6 p.m. D.J. Bob Nelson will be providing tunes for the event.

Yoga By the Tracks also returns to Main Street Park at 6 p.m. April 21.

Hamlet also kicks off its Box Car Concert Series in the Park with the Sand Band from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, April 24.
