HAMLET – The FirstHealth Board of Directors has accepted a recommendation from the FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital-Hamlet Board of Advisors to discontinue providing clinical services at Moore Regional Hospital-Hamlet. The last day for clinical services at the hospital in Hamlet will be November 3, 2017.

HAMLET – The Rockingham Middle School Lady Rockets volleyball team showed “teamwork” in its match versus biggest in-county rival, Hamlet Middle School. Rockingham won both matches of the double-header 2-0 by the scores of scores of 25-14, 25-9 and 25-21, 25-7.

CORDOVA – The Hamlet Lady Red Rams went on the road Thursday and swept the Cordova Cavaliers in a double header 2-0, 2-0.

HAMLET -- The Hamlet Lady Red Rams  volleyball team defeated fellow Southeastern Middle School Athletic Conference opponent Ellerbe in both matches of a doubleheader Tuesday. The Lady Red Rams the first match 2-0, and took the second match 2-1.
