Linden Lodge hosting charity golf tournament in October

ABERDEEN — Linden Lodge Foundation, Inc. a local non-profit organization serving those with severe mental illness in Moore County, is hosting a Charity Golf Event on Monday, Oct. 4, 2021, shotgun at 9:30 a.m. at the prestigious Holly golf course in Pinewild.

Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Golfers will have the opportunity to win a $10,000 cash prize for a hole-in-one on a 3 par sponsored by The Martha Gentry Team and another prize of a car for a hole-in-one on a par 3 sponsored by Cooper Ford.  In addition, golfers will be able to bid on artwork  from local artists and other items.

Linden Lodge’s goal is to provide a high quality of life for all residents, ongoing improvement and increased self-esteem and the ultimate elimination of stigma against those with a mental illness. Residents, staff and volunteers work side-by-side to develop treatment plans, set goals and discover ways to successfully achieve them. Success depends upon the Lodge’s ability to inspire partnerships between residents, staff, board members, volunteers, organization partners, medical providers and the larger community. Linden Lodge is completely funded by community donations, they do not receive any government funding.
