HAMLET – Richmond Community College’s Small Business Center will present a free seminar on Wednesday, May 9, and Thursday, May 10, that will help individuals learn the concepts of entrepreneurship and gain practical lessons for starting a small business or building upon an existing one.
The NC REAL Entrepreneurship Boot Camp will be held in the Grimsley Building on College’s main campus in Hamlet.
Marketing ideas, finding customers, pricing products or services and financing and cash flow are just a few topics and questions seminar facilitator Renae Simon will answer during this free two-day NC REAL seminar.
Simon has more than 15 years of experience and training in business consulting, marketing and advertising, facilities management, special event management and sales.
She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Greensboro and the REAL (Rural Entrepreneurship Action Learning) Institute and is a licensed facilitator of this course.
This two-day boot camp will also provide foundational information on small business ownership and how to get a small business off the ground and running.
An NC Real Entrepreneurship Boot Camp certificate will be presented to all attendees that complete five of the six sessions.
