HAMLET — A teenager is facing several felony charges after allegedly stealing several items, including guns and beer, following a break-in last month.

According to warrants, 18-year-old Bryson Lee Pack, of Spring Street in Hamlet, broke into a building on Meadow Lane on Dec. 17.

Pack is accused of stealing miscellaneous jewelry, a bucket containing coins an Arlo Pro-2 base station for security cameras and a six-pack of Weihenstephaner beer.

He also allegedly stole four firearms: a Texas Ranger single-shot 12-gauge shotgun; a Glock 23 .40-caliber semi-automatic handgun; a Kimber 1911 .45-caliber ACP semi-automatic handgun; and a Walther P22 .22-caliber semi-automatic handgun.

He was booked into the Richmond County Jail, where he remains under a $15,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on those charges Jan. 9.

The following day, he was served with a misdemeanor out-of-county probation violation and given an additional $10,000 secured bond.

Records with the N.C. Department of Public Safety Division of Adult Correction show Pack was given a 12-month suspended sentence last July when he was convicted in Scotland County of misdemeanor breaking and entering, larceny and injury to real property.

Online court records show Pack has a Jan. 6 court appearance on multiple pending charges including: one felony count and two misdemeanor counts of possession of stolen goods or property; three counts of breaking and entering; and two counts of larceny of a firearm.

All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
