Import Faceoff and VW’s at the Rock rescheduled

ROCKINGHAM — The annual Import Faceoff car show, drag race, and sound off event has been scheduled for June 7, at Rockingham Dragway, moving the Southeast VW Association “VWs at The Rock” to Saturday, June 6.

The Import Faceoff annually attracts over 300 show cars and 200 racers and is the largest all-Import event in North Carolina. Last year Import race winners were John Fuentes of Charlotte, Jared Early of Uniontown, Pa., Nathan Sherrick of Lancaster, Oh., and Adriana of Noonen from Ft. Myers, Fla.

The VW’s at The Rock produces an all VW car and truck show, swap meet and drag race.

The drag race winners from last year’s VW event were Clint Wood of Wendell and Colby Marshburn of Clinton.
