SANFORD — The Richmond Senior High School girls’ basketball team cruised to a 60-30 victory over Lee County Friday.
Winning their 12th game in a row, the Lady Raiders matched their longest winning streak under head coach Teddy Moseley.
Junior point guard Jamyia Lindsey netted a game-high 23 points. Adding to the win were senior Ryelan Lyerly and freshman Madisen Jackson, who each scored eight points.
Netting all seven of her points in the second half was sophomore Jasiah Gilchrist.

The battle for the Sandhills Athletic Conference regular-season crown will come down to next Friday’s finale between Richmond (19-4, 11-0 SAC) and Scotland (18-2, 9-1 SAC).
It will also be the Lady Raiders’ senior night, which is set to begin at 6 p.m.
