ROCKINGHAM — Charles Randy Wilson, 80, of Rockingham, passed away on Dec. 19, 2021.
He was born on Oct. 4, 1941 in Gaston County, a son of the late Charles Ervin and Melinda Maye Postell Wilson.
He served his country in the U.S. Army and was a supervisor in the textile industry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Gaddy Wilson.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 23 at 2 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from noon to 1:45 p.m. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park.
Surviving are sons, Steve, Robert and David Wilson; daughters Sherry Hunter and Dana Michelle Greene; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
