Ina Harding Haigler

ROCKINGHAM — Ina Harding Haigler, 88, of Rockingham, passed away Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

She was born March 20, 1932 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late John Robert and Willie Mae Robbins Thrower.

Mrs. Haigler retired from the textile Industry as a lab technician at Richmond Yarns. She was an active member and Sunday school teacher at First Baptist Church of Rockingham. Ina was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother and dearly loved her family, church and friends. She lived a full and rich life always endeavoring to serve and provide for others. Ina and her husband Mack enjoyed camping, traveling together, family and their special time of sharing breakfast and memories each morning together.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Alfred Harding Sr.; and stepson, Jimmy Haigler.

A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Richmond Co. Memorial Park with the Rev. Jack Lee officiating. Due to COVID-19, please wear a face mask and continue to social distancing.

Surviving are her husband of 22 years, Mack Haigler of Rockingham; her daughter, Donna Campbell (Larry) of Fuquay Varina; sons, Jim Harding (Alicia) of Rockingham, Jerry Harding (Heather) of Clarkesville, Georgia; Bob Harding (Christie) of Angier; step-daughter-in-law, Ginger Haigler McLain of Rockingham; sisters, Polly Bond of The Villages, Florida, Frances McPherson of Charlotte, Helen Greer of Rockingham; a brother, Edward Thrower of Rockingham; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
