Ms. Carolyn Brice Corder, 88, went to her heavenly home on May 26, 2022.
She was a lifelong member of Good News Free Will Baptist Church in Rockingham. She retired from the Richmond County Department of Social Services.
Ms. Corder is survived by her daughter, Dianna Lewis Royer and son-in-law Thomas Royer Sr. of Mechanicsville, Virginia. She has three grandchildren, Kelly Andrews, Kimberly Talbert and Thomas Royer Jr., and seven great-grandchildren, all of Virginia. She has one cousin, Sandy Lampley of Rockingham.
The funeral will be on Monday June 6 at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham at 1 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the funeral.
Burial will be at Richmond Memorial Park. Donations are to be made to Good News Free Will Baptist Church.
