ROCKINGHAM — Robert Joseph Pouliot, 81, of Rockingham, formerly of New Hampshire, passed away Friday, July 2, 2021, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 8, 1940, in Manchester, New Hampshire, son of William Alexander Pouliot and Lea Corriveau Pouliot.
Mr. Pouliot was a self-employed carpenter and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed the great outdoors and was very talented at making things out of wood. He was great at playing the guitar and he was a huge Elvis Presley fan!
A visitation will be held at Harrington Funeral Home, Thursday, July 8, 2021 from noon-1 p.m.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. July 8, 2021, at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, 8220 Bragg Blvd. Spring Lake. Burial will follow.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Pouliot of home; daughters, Mary Allard of Manchester, New Hampshire, Julie Cashwell of Manchester, New Hampshire, and Nancy Belanger of Hamlet; sons, Jeff Pouliot (Victoria) and Allen Pouliot (Michelle) all of Manchester, New Hampshire, Rick Caswell (Kathy) of Rockingham and Brian Caswell of Manchester, New Hampshire; brothers, Donald Pouliot (Margie) and Raymond Pouliot all of Manchester, New Hampshire; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in his memory to Richmond County Hospice, 1119 US 1, Rockingham, NC 28379.
