ROCKINGHAM — Police on Wednesday released more details Wednesday regarding charges related to a search warrant.

According to the Rockingham Police Department, the Narcotics Unit — with help from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, N.C. State Bureau of Investigation and N.C. Alcohol Law Enforcement — executed a search warrant at 907 Biggs Blvd. on Sept. 1 “following a months-long investigation into the suspected sale and delivery of controlled substances.”

The house is located near both the former L.J. Bell Elementary and Rockingham Middle schools.

Investigators reportedly found more than 10 pounds of marijuana, an unspecified quantity of MDMA (Ecstasy). Police also reportedly seized several firearms, including a Draco AK-platform pistol, an AR-15 pistol, other assorted handguns, and a device “capable of converting a handgun to fully automatic fire.”

On Tuesday, the RO reported on the arrests of two individuals, Jamerius Ja-Kwon McRae and 20-year-old Trinity Smaya Brown, both of the address, on multiple related charges. Records show they were both released on bail on Tuesday.

The press release on RPD’s Facebook page also notes the following charges were filed against Harriot Robinson: two counts of possession of a firearm by a felon; two counts of exposing a child to a controlled substance; possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver MDMA; felony possession of cocaine; maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance; manufacturing, selling, delivering or possessing a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to the release, Robinson was given a $50,000 secured bond.

The RO was unable to find records on Robinson with the N.C. Court System or N.C. Department of Adult Correction at the time of writing.

“The Rockingham Police Department would like to thank the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, NCSBI, and NCALE for their assistance and continued partnership during this investigation,” reads the press release.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be forthcoming.

All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
