ROCKINGHAM — Bruce Edwin Roberts, 70, of Rockingham, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at Hospice Haven, Rockingham.
He was born March 26, 1950 in Richmond County, son of David Bruce Roberts and Eunice Deese Roberts.
Mr. Roberts previously worked in maintenance at Perdue and had attended Cartledge Creek Baptist Church. He loved God, his family and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He was in his element whether out on his motorcycle, outdoors in nature or fishing.
He is survived by his children, Shae Roberts of the home; Mark Roberts (Dawn) of Rockingham; brother, Arnold Roberts of Rockingham; sisters, Betty Roberts Chavis of Hamlet, Jean Roberts Peele of Sunset Beach and Millie Roberts Boyd (Bob) of Hamlet; his grandson, Justin Roberts; and the mother of his children, Nancy Roberts of Rockingham..
The family will have a private memorial service.
