Kelli Samantha Covington Osborne, 53, of Wingate, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024 at Atrium Hospice in Monroe.
Samantha was born March 16, 1970 in Richmond County, a daughter of James Michael Covington and the late Jeanette Humphrey Covington.
She was a homemaker and passionate about loving her family and being a stay-at-home mom.
In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Keith Osborne, and a brother, Cheston Brian Covington.
Surviving are her children, Dustin Keith Osborne and Tianna Osborne Smith (Bradley); granddaughter, Addison Louise Smith; father and stepmother, James Michael and Sharon Covington; siblings, James Michael Covington Jr. and Tracy Covington Hamilton (Tim) and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A service in celebration of her life will be at noon Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024 in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham. The family will receive friends from 11-11:45 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and at other times at the home of Mike and Sharon Covington.
