ROCKINGHAM — Raymond Carl Warwick, 72, of Rockingham, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst.
He was born Sept. 9, 1950, in Lumberton, son of the late Raymond Carl Warwick and Grace Townsend Warwick.
Mr. Warwick was a 10-year veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Hamlet. He was an avid fisherman and loved NASCAR racing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Billy Warwick; and sister, Annette Warwick.
Mr. Warwick is survived by his wife of 52 years, Nancy Dunn Warwick of the home; children, James Carl Warwick (Sandra) of Danville, Virginia, Lisa Warwick Panzer of Cornell, Wisconsin, Julia Warwick Nickel of Rockingham, and Phillip Brandon Warwick of Elizabethtown; grandchildren, Hayden, Gwyn, Olivia, Bella, Ian, Holly, Tyler and Chase; great-grandchildren, Bentley and J.J.; brothers, Tommy Warwick of Lumberton and Joe Warwick (Trish) of Wilmington; and sister, Helen Warwick of Lumberton.
A Celebration of Life service will be Sunday, Nov. 6, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, Hamlet, with the Rev. Bill Monroe officiating.
