Robert Leviner, 67, of Laurel Hill, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023 at Scottish Pines Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Laurinburg.
He was born July 7, 1956, in Marlboro County, South Carolina, son of the late Alexander Leviner Sr. and Laurabelle Jeffery Leviner.
Robert was a true farmer at heart and loved being on a tractor in previous years. He also loved to fish. He loved his family and will be dearly missed.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother who helped raise him, Esther Thompson Leviner; brother, John William Leviner and sister, Betty Jean Leviner.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Iola “Polly” Dennis Leviner of the home; brothers, Donnie Leviner (Sonya) of Charlotte, the Rev. Tommy Leviner (Robin) of Hamlet, Richard Leviner of Rockingham, Alex Leviner Jr. (Jackie) of Hamlet, James Leviner of Rockingham, and Michael Leviner of Hamlet; sisters, April Leviner and Narklin Leviner, both of Hamlet; and a host of nieces and nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. at Harrington Funeral Home, Hamlet.
The funeral service will be Sunday, Oct. 29, 2023 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Harrington Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Leviner officiating. Burial will follow at Bible Freewill Church of Worship Cemetery, N.C. Hwy 381, Hamlet.
At other times, the family will receive friends at the home.
