Tommy Daniel “Danny” Johnson, 59, of Marston, passed away Jan. 2, 2024 at his home.
He was born June 20, 1964 in Harnett County, North Carolina, a son of the late Raymond Randall and Diana Edgar Johnson.
A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024 at 4 p.m. at Southridge Baptist Church with Pastor Ronnie Wayne Chavis officiating. The family will receive from 3-4 prior to the service at the church.
Preceded in death brother Wayne Johnson.
Surviving are his daughters, Kristie Johnson (Hailey) of Broadway and Danielle Mills (Phillip) of Marston; two grandchildren, Kalen Izaiah and Sapphira Aurora; a brother, Randy Johnson (Susie) of Broadway; a sister, Darlene Davis (Karl) of North Dakota; and many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Danny was a self-employed handyman, he was a great mechanic and a master carpenter. He enjoyed the outdoors as an avid fisherman, deer hunter, treasure hunting for antiques, arrowheads and traveling to Mexico. Danny panned and mined for gold in Alaska, Northern California and various locations in his home state of North Carolina. He spent a lot of time helping the less fortunate and serving the Lord Jesus.
