Teresa Quick

ROCKINGHAM — Teresa Dunn Quick, 67, went home to be with the Lord Sunday morning, Aug. 30, 2020, at Hospice Haven.

She was born in Richmond County July 9, 1953, a daughter of Lacy Odell Dunn, who survives, and the late Joyce Wilson Dunn. She was the widow of the late John Albert Quick who passed away Jan. 15, 2012. They had celebrated 33 years of marriage.

Teresa enjoyed a career as a Licensed Practical Nurse serving the health needs of others. She was a dedicated employee of Richmond Memorial Hospital for more than 20 years. She had a great love and devotion to her family, and especially the grandchildren.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her children, Marc Quick-Kuhlmann of Graham, Judith Quick of Rockingham, Robin Luckey of Texas, Scott Quick (Tanya) of Rockingham, Jamie Quick (Jade) of Rockingham, Jessica Glass (Rusty) and John Quick of the home; her precious grandchildren, Alisha Brown (Chadley), Jamie Quick Jr., Gage Quick, Christian Nielsen-Quick, Bryson Pack, Kyleigh Pack, Levi Brigman, Ryker Brigman, Rylee Brigman, Waylon Jerue and Maddox Brigman; three great-grandchildren, Aubree, Chassidy and Amelia “Little Scott” Brown; five brothers, Lacy Dunn Jr., Ricky Dunn, Joey Dunn, Steven Dunn and Sammy Dunn; two sisters, Sharon Webster and Sheila D. Trotter; plus many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, at Outreach for Jesus with Pastor Marvin Taylor officiating. Social distancing and facial masks are requested due to COVID. Interment will follow in Eastside Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband.

There will be no formal visitation at the church but the family will receive friends at the home of her son, Scott Quick, at 213 Lakeview Trail, Rockingham beginning from 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1 through 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3. Those who wish to make donations to Hospice or to send flowers may also deliver to that address.
