Virginia Ann Moore McKay, 88, of Marston, completed her earthly journey on Friday, Aug. 28, 2020.
Mrs. McKay was born Aug. 24, 1932 in Rockingham County, one of 10 children of William Bryant and Carrie Belle Carter Moore. She was a homemaker and had been a member of Marston Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by eight siblings and her son-in-law, Dannie Greene.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 58 years, Hilery H. McKay Jr.; children, Karen M. Greene, William H. McKay (Dawn), and Lynn M. Peele (Gene); grandchildren, Laura Greene, Marcus Greene, Daniel Greene, Matthew Peele and Jonathan Peele; brother, Donald Moore; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Marks Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Ritter officiating. Social distancing and face coverings are required.
