HAMLET — Mr. Thomas “David” Wesson, 61, of Hamlet, passed away on Monday, Nov. 1, 2021 at his residence.
David was born Aug. 30, 1960 in Charlotte, son of Thomas Roland Wesson Jr. and Beaneti Brooks Wesson.
He loved music, especially country and Southern gospel. David enjoyed working and loved his family.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Shannon Nicole Wesson; and father, Thomas Roland Wesson Jr.
He is survived by his significant other of 21 years, Claireann Haines, of the home; mother, Beaneti Wesson of Hamlet; son, Christopher Wesson of Virginia; daughter, Christy Bazzano of Ohio; two sisters, Shirley Parker (Alan) of Grenada, West Indies, and Lori Lynn (Anthony) of Rockingham; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; three nieces, two great-nieces and one great-nephew.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021 at Harrington Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Butch Park officiating.
