ROCKINGHAM — Mr. Bruce “Trey” Allen III, 43, of Rockingham, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022, due to a traffic accident in Rockingham.
He was born on June 28, 1979, in Rockingham, son of the late Bruce Allen and Pamela Tinker; grandson of late Bruce and Sarah Efird Allen.
Trey was employed by Allen Brothers Timbers with his uncles. He loved spending time with his daughters and riding his ATV. He attended Jefferson Park Church and looked forward to going on Sundays with his daughters.
He was always a kind, respectful, and giving young man. If he had it and you needed, he would gladly give it to you. He was always willing to share any and everything. He was a simple man and didn’t require a lot of attention or things. He treasured his family but didn’t meet a stranger. He will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts.
A service to celebrate Trey’s life will be conducted 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21, 2022 at Jefferson Park Church in Rockingham, with Pastor Chris Jacobs. The family will have visitation from 2-3 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and his sister, Emily Voss.
Survivors include his daughters, Katelyn Allen and Zoe Allen of Rockingham; uncles, Clay (Maria) Allen of Rockingham and Craig (Allison) Allen of Morven; nieces, cousins and friends.
