Cheryl Elaine Powell Holmes, 63, of Rockingham, passed away Sunday, Jan. 14, 2024 at Richmond County Hospice Haven.
She was born Nov. 6, 1960, in Fort Gordon, Georgia, daughter of the late Herman Hart Powell and Carolyn Ann Morris Powell.
Cheryl worked as a housekeeper with residential condominiums. She loved yard work, especially planting and tending to her flowers. Even during her illness and treatments, she loved being outdoors. She was a kind, big-hearted lady that would help anyone in need.
She is survived by her son, Brandon Williamson (Alysha Cox) of Rockingham; grandchildren, Alianna Williamson and Ethan Yates; and several sisters.
All services will be held private by the family.
