ROCKINGHAM — Michael Wayne Watson, 60, of Rockingham, passed away Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021 at Meridian Center in High Point.
He was born Nov. 11, 1960 in Richmond County, a son of Helen Collins Watson and the late Glenn Ford Watson.
He was a graduate of Richmond Senior High Class of 1979 and attended Richmond Community College. He enjoyed sports, people and especially his family. He never met a stranger.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021 from 2-3:30 p.m. at Watson-King Funeral Home in Rockingham.
Surviving, his mother, Helen Watson of Hamlet; a brother, Sonny Watson and wife Corinne of Hamlet; and several cousins.
