Larry F. Goins, 75, of Rockingham passed away, Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024 at his home.
He was born June 22, 1948 in Moore County, a son of the late Samuel and Lou Reynolds Goins.
He retired from the textile industry.
A service will be conducted Friday, Jan. 19, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Watson-King Funeral Home Chapel in Rockingham with Marvin Blake officiating. Burial will follow in the Clark Family Cemetery.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Grover, Bob, Junior and Gary Goins; and two sisters, Delphia Rouse and Marie Britt.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Sue Clark Goins of the home; a daughter, Sharon Odom and husband, Scott of Rockingham; two grandsons, Jake Howlett of Rockingham and Tyson Howlett of Winston-Salem; along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
